Ministro de Minas e Energia visita plataforma P-74

The Minister of Mines and Energy, Bento Albuquerque, visited platform P-74 on December 20, the first FPSO to start operating in the Búzios Field, in the Campos Basin pre-salt layer. Aboard the P-74, Bento Albuquerque highlighted the growth of the Brazilian oil and gas sector on the international stage and the work of Petrobras employees to develop the sector. With the capacity to process 150 thousand barrels of oil and 7 million m3 of gas per day, the P-74 entered into operation 80 days in advance, thanks to the excellent work carried out by the EBR Brasil Shipyard, which was responsible for the Top side EPC, with 17 process modules, the riser rack and the pipe rack, for the integration of the modules, the commissioning and the startup of the platform.
