Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems

HSE comes first

We believe that it is possible to live well in a safe and productive manner, 24/7 at work, on the street and at home. It just depends on your habits, behavior and commitment. To us, a project is considered successful when we reach our HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) goals.

For this reason, ensuring the safety and health of our personnel and environmental preservation is part of our culture, to the extent that employees have the right and the duty to refuse to perform a task if they are not prepared or lack the HSE conditions.

Our managers must lead HSE efforts by positive role modeling. However, this is everyone’s commitment, also applying to subcontractors. In this area, our goal can be defined in a simple way: zero incidents, zero damage to people, and zero damage to the environment.

Thus, we have a robust HSE Management System, structured in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) and NBR ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) Standards, with a commitment to providing safe and healthy workplaces, to prevent any injuries and illnesses and protect the environment.

Our Policy represents a set of principles stated as commitments, in which the top management describes the company’s intentions to support and increase its performance in terms of Quality, Safety, Environment and Health.

Alcohol and Drugs Policy

Based on its principles and culture of Quality, Safety, Environment and Health (QHSE), the Code of Conduct and the Communication and Social Responsibility Policy, the company implemented in all its areas of operation a Program to Prevent the Undue Use of Alcohol and other Drugs, as we know that the use of alcohol and other drugs in work situations poses serious risks to the safety and health of professionals.

Certifications

The QHSE Management System is certified by the Bureau Veritas Certification, in accordance with the requirements of NBR ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), NBR ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) Standards.

The Quality Management System consists in interrelated processes. Understanding how results are produced by this system allows the company to optimize its performance.
